You have to be very careful with these blades or they will dull or break. Definitely not for heavy duty work. As far as I know, no one else makes blades for the Multimaster. Sometimes even a new blade will cause wood to burn or smoke. Wish someone else would make these blades. As a result, their blades are greatly overpriced. And, they don't last very long.
Their variety of products available continues to amaze me. I love my Fein and was disappointed when I broke my only 5/8 universal blade. I was very happy to find the 3-pack available through Amazon.
after cutting 4 sinkers I had a flat spot in the teeth and had to toss the blade. The blades worked great at cutting everything else, just keep them away from any type of steel These blades are just about worthless at cutting nails. Yes I understand to let the blade do all the work and that the blade is not made as a metal cutting device.
I just purchased another set of e-cut blades and one is already dull after cutting through a couple of nails. My only complaint is that the blades dull very easily and are very expensive to replace. I've had my Multimasterm for six months. I love the tool concept and I have been using it quite a lot for a Kitchen and Bath remodel.
This tool can easily trim the exact, clean amount from bottom of molding without removing it. Good example: Installing hardwood floors requires shortening door molding to get wood under the molding. Eats up small nails also being a bi-metal blade.Expensive, but no other tool does what this does. I use this attachment more than any other for my multi-master. For home repairs, it's great for being able to trim wood in tight places without having to remove it.
